Experience
Ken has worked as a Pensions Practitioner for 30 years, initially with the then Sun Life Assurance Society (now AXA Sun Life) where he was Area Pensions Specialist. He then moved to an established pensions advisory business which was acquired by Baker Tilly, a national firm of chartered accountants, to form the Employee Benefits Group. This became part of the Pensions Group Faculty, where his role was Pensions Manager. He then became Business Development Director, heading a team which advised on company restructures, acquisitions and management buy-outs.
Ken joined LEBC Group in August 2009.
Specialisation
Ken has extensive experience in the Occupational Pensions arena, specifically promised benefit schemes. He has particular knowledge relating to risk management and budgetary control of such arrangements and advises on scheme design and revision as well as employment issues arising out of such changes. He has also been involved in the design and implementation of defined contribution schemes.
